Is your marriage or civil partnership coming to an end?

Worried about your children?

Family matters can be both distressing and time-consuming, often throwing all parties into sensitive and emotional positions.  We’ll work with you in a supportive, yet pragmatic manner, to achieve the best possible results.  We do our best to be flexible with our pricing and offer fixed fees for Divorce and all our Family Law services.

Divorce specialist support & guidance

We’ll discuss the reasons for the breakdown of your marriage and explore the possibility of reconciliation.  We’ll advise you of possible alternatives, before issuing divorce proceedings.  These alternatives might include marriage counselling, informal or formal separation, or entering into a post-nuptial agreement.  If your relationship has broken down irretrievably, we’ll offer you all the guidance and legal advice you need for your separation.

Children – putting their interests first

Children are often the most vulnerable element of any separation.  We encourage all parties to reach an agreement about the arrangements for children.  If you and your spouse can agree mutually what is to happen with them, then there’s no need to involve the court.  However, where there’s no agreement, and you need to formalise any contact arrangement, we would pursue this vigorously on your behalf.

Financial Settlements

There are so many factors to consider –

  • The family home
  • Dividing savings
  • Possessions
  • Pensions
  • Property

And of course, with children, there are matters of maintenance to think about.

Where you and your spouse can come to an agreement, you’ll need the court to approve the conclusion.  If you can’t reach an agreement, again you’ll need the court to make a decide for you. In both cases, we’ll be at your side, navigating the legal system and making sure of the best outcome possible.

Family law can be complex.  Taking legal advice is critical to give yourself the best chance of a happy outcome.  Why not arrange a free 15-minute consultation with one of our experienced professionals?  We’ll explore your case and circumstances in greater detail, so as to determine the best way forward.
